It's part of the fuel filter. In the tank attached to the pump.

I'd be looking hard at the fuel pressure first. If you only have 30 psi you aren't getting enough fuel to the injectors and what does isn't atomizing correctly.

It could be a bad pump module.

Okay well its outside warming up right now, idling at 800ish 50psi on the fuel rail, however any touch to the throttle and it will die.

you can however slightly raise the idle to about 1100 and keep it there, any more and itll die.after it warms up ill check fuel pressure at 1100 rpms.

its revving alot better now. its warmed up, im a lil scared to test the fuel rail cuz my psi guage leaks fuel, but as it was warming up i took off the intake. everything looks pretty clean. i disconnected the top plug (im guessing the tps) its pretty much in like woth the shaft holding the block plate. and it died, i disconnected the lower sensor which im assuming is the maf and thats when i was able to rev up the engine without it dying.

Is this trying to tell me something besides the fuel system is wrong? maf possibly? im going to try flooring the throttle to see if it dies and how it reacts with the maf unplugged and plugged in. and see if it will restart.

didnt matter if that bottom plug was plugged in or not, it revved, drove, idled and restarted fine. Ill check in the morning and see if it cold starts fine or not. Hopefully it will act right. fingers crossed.

Well now were back to square 1. it started right up this morning but when i tried to goto the gas station it was hugely underpowered. when just sitting there if i rev it up it will bounce to about 4500 and just slowly keep going down.

Do you still have the sensor disconnected?

No, nothing is disconnected right now. I put in a new maf as well but still the same outcome. The old maf was all gunked up as well. At this point I'm clueless.. Starts and idles just fine at 600-700 rpms, but once you hit the throttle it doesn't wanna rev past 1500-2500 and if you try to hold the throttle it will slowly rev down no matter how much throttle you put into it. Also if you start it and just tap the throttle and make it go up to 1500 or whatever it goes to and let it come back down it starts feeling really shakey and feels like it might be misfiring.
