There hardly is an exhaut on it, everything from the split for the dual exhaust fell off, it's never had it on it since I've owned the truck

And its fixxed! After all this time, it turns out the cat was clogged to the point where it couldnt handle high rpm exhaust flow. This was always in the back of my mind because i heard someone suggest it a long time ago, and then again by DakDan but ive worked on cars for almost 2 straight years for a career now and never seen a clogged cat so i guess i just didnt think much of it. Now to the fixxin it up part, the fun stuff! Ill make a new thread to talk about that. Id just like to thank all of you for your input and ideas.

You know its weird I was thinking that earlier(my buddy was talking about a similar problem with his s10) His cat was the problem. Glad you got it fixed tho!
