Default want to upgrade to bigget tires.. do i need more lift?

I was wondering, I have a 2000 dakota sport club cab4x4 with the 3.9L. My question is can I upgrade from 32/11.50/r15 to 33/12.50/r15 with out any editing? I already have 3in worth of body lift...

with a 3 body lift, I think 33x12.5 should be the very edge. I think you'll have a bigger issue with tires rubbing the frame at full steer.

My opinion- it's 1/2" taller on top of the tire and 1/2" wider at each sidewall. Put your hand on top of your 32, this is where the new tire will be. Check for clearance. Steer full left. Can you fit your hand between frame and left tire, bumper/sway bar and right tire? Same for steering right- bumper/sway bar and left front, chassis and right front.

You'll fit 33s my 99 Dakota has only 3inch body lift with 33" mt tires agressive tread. Grabs onto mud flaps that's all . My 04 I have 35s but they chew on the frame more then I'd like.
