Hello from Norway!

My Dakota 4.7 have started to act strange when started cold.

It revs immedelity up to 2000-2500 rpms.
After a little touch on the throttle it goes down to normal rpm.

Have anyone experienced this??
Could it be the TPS?

Sounds like a high idle setting to help warm it up

 

When did you clean the throttle body last? It may be a sticking IAC.

Problem fixed!

After cleaning both the IAT and the Idle Air control valve.
Both needed cleaning.
