Thanks. I have done everything my self expect for the dual exhaust.Bought it stock Feb 2011. I have added the exhaust, body lift, 2 inchs blocks in the back, new control arms, tie rods, hub bearings, radiator, lower steering shaft, brakes all around,Rancho 5000's all around,Westin nerf bars,Just did the spark plugs and a new Map sensor.

It does still have worked to be done. When I bought it had some running boards on it and I replace them with the nerf bars. The running boards do a fair job of trapping water and I got some holes and rust to deal with. It is underneath so it is not very noticable.

Dang!, that's a sharp looking dak. Good feeling of accomplishment doing most of the work yourself. Nice work!

All I can say is I'm jealous. I wish I had a lift and duals and nice tires but my money has places more important to go than my truck unfortunatley.

Understand. Took me 18 months To get this far. Doing the install my self helps. Spent more than I should on the exhaust but other than that. Just a matter doing what I can when I can.Still a loose upper steering shaft and some body work I need to deal with. Wish I could just go out get what I need but sometimes you have wait a little.

So true, been working on mine for 2 years and still a long way to go. Luckily have had no major problems, keep up with regular maintenance and she runs fine.

I guess I shouldn't complain. I've only had mine since May and I've done the little stuff headlights tail lights and cab lights and gutter mesh grille inserts. I was in need of new tires and was going to buy brand new ones when I found a set of barely used ones on the same rims as you on craigslist for $300. I couldn't pass them up. I had them sand blasted and spray bombed them black. Hopefully I'll get them on this weekend. I hope slowly I'll get as far as you.

That is what it takes sometimes. New doesn't mean better. A little time and hard work used can be just as good if not better. I try to focus on cleaning and bringing back to life what I already have.

What kind of headlights are those? How do you like them?
