Cool 2000 Dodge Dakota wiring for radio

Good day. I own a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4. Great truck and got it at an unbelievable price. It had the factory radio re-installed. I installed my own cd player, but now the instrument panel dimmer lights do not work. Does any one have a wiring harness diagram for this truck. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

You need to check the black/yellow and orange wires in the factory radio harness. Be sure they are not touching metal and shorting out behind the radio opening. The black/yellow is the parking light/dash light illumination wire, and the orange is the dimmer circuit. Tape up or cap off/insulate those wires first and then check the fuse panel, you probably popped the dash light fuse. I do not know which one it is exactly, but the fuse box cover has a label on the inside of it and it should be a 5 amp fuse.
