im looking into gettin new lower control arms and possibly spindles for my 2001 2wd. I was lookin all over and EBAY seems to be the best place to get em. I just want some opinions with that, or some links to other places.

Just watch out for the what brand ball joints come with that control arm.

Why are you replacing them? What's wrong with the spindle?

 

thanks! yeah i will look at that, dont wanna get no cheap crap. Well when i got an alignment they said something may be bent, and i havent had to chance to take a better look. so i just wanna redo my whole front end. got the doestch 3 inch kit coming, new brake rotors, and figureed id do the lowers cuz thats what is most likely bent..and since im doin that i may as well do spindles, but thats only if they are bent.
im almost positive its the lowers that are tweaked, maybe even the bushing are messed up

 

I bought all 4 control arms off of E-Bay about 6 months ago seem to be holding up alright. Also had a issue with right spindle and had no luck finding one had to go used.

 

yeah im not 100% sure that i have a messed up spindle, im thinkin its lower arms. but yeah i figured id have to go used for a spindle. what brand arms did you get? or what seller?

 

Uppers got from World Suspension and lowers from Buyautoparts. Have no idea why I used 2 different vendors .

I wanna go with new stuff. want a clean look. My truck isnt goin long travel bummed but i moved out and sold the kit that i was having made and lost money

 

Damn man that sucks....and no worries on a new look. Keep an eye out for my LT kit going up for sale in April or mayish. Gunna be going with a full race kit with bypasses
