Question Brake lights Inop Help

I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota, I don't have brake lights. My hazards and turn signals do work. I have replaced the Brake switch 2x, I have tested for continuity in the brake switch between pin 1 & pin 2 and its good and when retracted there is continuity between pin 3 & pin 4. My bulbs are new. All my fuses have been replaced (Fuse 1,4,5).

I have replaced the Multi-Function switch and it didn't help my situation.

The issue had began when i bought the truck, the trailer harness was rigged to a cap light. I removed the trailer harness all together and reconnected the lighting harness in its factory position when i realized this could be the main issue ((that didn't fix my problem, however im not sure if it was the original cause)).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you tried the combination flasher? It handles the turn/brake light switching.

Not necessarily.

It's not a flasher like on older vehicles, it handles the turn signal, hazard, and brake light switching.

It's outboard of the steering column. There's a tab on the dash it attaches to. There's a harness on it with about 10 wires in it.
