no spark no fuel no guages
Any input would be helpful!!!!!!
I have a 1997 dodge dakota 3.9 4x4...I bought the truck broke down....we have replaced the computer, cam sensor, crank sensor, battery, and it ran for about 20 mins. and then it quit. The gauges stopped working and the odometer began to flash. Engine cranks great. we checked fuses and found the IOD fuse blown. I have to jump the fuel pump relay to get the fuel pump to cycle and I have no spark. I am lost on what to check next.
I checked the codes in the dash and got the following:
900
920
921
940
950
What else could be wrong?

Previous owner had cut all the original connectors off the harness and wired the radio direct. there are a few connections in question for example....I had to wire the cigarette lighter to the "Fused B+" factory wire to get the dash to work in the first place. This may shed some light on what problems I am having. Can anyone explain why this would cause issues to the PCM or CCD?
I am unsure what a CCD bus is or where it is located?------------

Those are instrument cluster codes, not the regular diagnostic P0XXX codes. You may need a code reader for them.
The 900 is the most likely clue. It indicates the CCD bus is not operational. It could be due to a bad PCM or something shorting the computer bus.
All the other codes are related to the 900.

Your CCD bus is not working - that explains the "NO LINK" and the instrument cluster codes.
You may have a bad PCM or a short in the CCD bus. You said you blew the IOD fuse - why? Check all wiring, carefully, including that for the cam and crank sensor. Has anyone added an aftermarket radio etc?

The wires for the CCD bus are normally a twisted pair - one wrapped around another. I don't have wiring diagrams for a '97 but in '00 which has the same bus design they are violet with a brown tracer and white with a black tracer.
The IOD part, in '00, is a pink wire. It will run to the radio, the console, the underhood lights, dome lamps, power mirrors, things like that.
Check these wires and see if they were damaged or hooked up incorrectly when the radio was installed.

I am unable to find the ccd wires behind the radio...? not sure what to do now.

I have checked all the wires associated with the radio and have found nothing that could be a problem...Just as a precaution I have ordered new picctails and stero adapters to fix the original wiring issues. I tested voltages from and to the pcm and found that I am only getting 3.5 volts to the crank sensor and I still have no link to the pcm with the obd2 tester.
I will be changing the pcm AGAIN.
I havent found any signifigant problems in the wiring to have caused the pcm to fry any suggestions???!!!
with the exception of the Pink (fused B+) being wired to the positive lead on the cigarette lighter. could that do it?

I don't know about the wire being connected to the lighter killing the PCM.
Bad crank and camshaft sensors can also short out part of the bus. Disconnect them temporarily and see if you get any codes/link then.
