IDK bro the only thing that comes to mind is when my radio is on AM and I go to make a turn and hit the turn sig it makes a similar sound..I was trying to figure out what your radio displayed at 52 sec into the vid? Might want to try unplugin the ds o2 before you start it and see what happens. <---based on your closed loop talk...lemme know..

The 'No Text" -that displays when there is no current artist station title availible; it's an HD radio.. LOL..

But You know I think I'm going to have to do just that.. unplug one thing at a time and see if the sound goes away.. It might be an indication of a problem device somewhere.. mabee it makes trouble even though it's not producing RFI once closed loop state occurs perhaps what ever is wrong with it causing issue.

do you have an aftermarket starter or an alarm that is tied into the stereo speakers. I mean one that use the speakers for chimes and such or amplifiers that are useing RCA cables

No; and I'm pretty good when it comes to Car Audio; I was sort of a Car Audio enthusiast for a good while; this is def. not a grounding problem at least with in the Stereo system. If it was it would be constant.

The sound is only picked up through one radio station.. the MHZ listed during the video. I tried alot of other non brodcasting stations too and the sound is not present. I kinda stumbled on this by accident one day and sure luck while i was letting the truck warm up and scanning for something to listen to other than my normal USB stick or stations.

What really tells me this is not a ground problem or something is also the fact that the sound is in sync with the engine.. and it goes away once the truck warms up to where it would go into a closed loop.

So it would seem something is emitting an RF/EMI during open loop condition that the radio is able to pick up on.

I'm not really worried about trying to isolate the problem from the radio; its only on one station.. that is non-brodcasting; but rather to find out what is causing it as it could be the tell-tell sign of a problem of other things. Like the off idle lope/shake.. You never know..

Or it could just be another random phantom dodge is notorious about.

Today; it was warmer by a few degrees; fired up and instead of immediatly hearing it on the same radio station.. i did not hear it.. I drove it down to the store and about half way there.. (Less than 2 miles one way to where i was going) during acceleration it started.. very faint then got fully audible.

And as before once temps got to Closed loop status; it went away completely.

I'm going to go through and do some testing this weekend; if anyone else has any more imput I'd appreciate it.

I'm just concerned this could be something leading to a bigger problem; or be associated with the roll off idle shake shake shake i have.
