Default 2001 dakota drivetrain brackets obsolete?

Mt 2001 Dakota Sport 4x4 3.9 liter is in the shop needing transmission differential brackets. I'm told these are obsolete by local dodge dealers and Wreckers don't have any. Are there any aftermarkets anyone knows of?

OK I was just at the shop and it's actually the rear transmission mount that's obsolete not the diffy mounts. Any help on where to get one would be much appreciated.

I will move this to the 2nd generation Dakota sub-forum.

Thanks Crazy4x4RT I'm new. @98DAKAZ - yes it's 2 part. I need the upper one called an insulator bracket. Thanks for the info guys, I'm up in Regina Saskatchewan Canada and can't find this thing anywhere 'round here. Wreckers or aftermarket.

There should be a poly one out there, I would think.

If I had to guess, go look for a jeep cherokee with the 4.0. Has the same transmission as the 3.9 if I remember correctly. Not sure if the mount is same. Have them look up the part # and see if it makes a positive cross-reference?

Thanks all. We found one in Missouri and shipped it up here for the fix.

Mine looks like the one on the bottom and I have checked EVERYWHERE for a poly mount with no luck. I've also checked for poly body mounts, with no luck.

I see Dakotas all over the place, and yet there seems to be hardly any aftermarket support. WTH?

I would never buy the poly ones I have read on many forums were people buy them but are not happy with them as they tranfer more sound and vibration compared to stock rubber
