Differential repaired, making noise now
Yeah, a friend on FB already caught the 4X4 item of changing fronts, too. so, I'm glad I am very ahppy with my current performance!
lol
The shop never offered up a choice to change ratios. I'm really asking which brand name to go with, there are 6 or more and I'd rather stay with Made in USA, but don't want to spend MOPARs high amount.

If its your daily drive I'd be careful about going too cheap on the gears. Cheap gears, whilst working fine tend to be noisy.
I've heard good things about Yukon but I can only comment on my own experience of Nitro gears. They are as quiet as the originals and the people who fitted them said they went in easy (meaning they were almost identical in tolerance to the ones that came out). The only problem came from the front pinion seal that came in the fitting kit from www.justdifferentials.com It failed almost immediately but they gave me a refund for the price of a genuine seal and the workshop fitted it for free so wasn't a big deal. Rear was fine, so as you're only getting that end changed, shouldn't be a problem.
