There is no going 'through' the snow with my dakota

 

Had some snow fun this weekend. Fri night/early sat morning my buddy his gf, our other buddy and me decided to go for a little off road adventure in the snow. We took my buddys truck 02 ram 2500 diesel. Was out for about 1/2 a hr was going down trails that we have gone down 1000's of times. This time we were met with a hidden 3 foot deep snow drift. Well needless to say he stayed with his gf and my buddy and I started our hike back to the road so we could go get picked up to go get my truck. Was about 15 degrees out with a wind chill of 5 or so. Was the longest 1/2 mile hike I ever had to do in jeans and a sweatshirt! Got 3 other buddys to come help us out. My truck got stuck a little trying to turn around so I could back up to where he was. Took us better part of 2 hrs yanking and shoveling to get him out. First successful recovery of 2013 for my truck.
