Question 45rfe transmission question!!!

i have a couple codes on my 2000 4x4 4.7.... Po733 and p 1781.... I took off the pan and there were no broken peices or any shavings on the magnet.... the question is, will a transgo kit fix my problems of no third gear and A/T Overdrive Pressure Switch Circuit Malfunction??? any help is apprecciated!

No, the kit will not fix the problem.

No. Unfortunately, transmissions aren't really my strong point. But the codes kind of give you a direction to go. Any good transmission shop should be able to diagnose it pretty easily. Sorry I can't be of any real help.

If you don't have any solenoid codes, just try replacing the switch.

If you have switch and solenoid codes, whole trans has to come apart. In my case, The lockup clutch in my convertor came apart, and the whole inside of the trans + sensors + solenoids was covered in clutch material.
