I replaced both front calipers a few years ago, totally forgot about doing them.

I bled just the front today, and I got a TON of bubbles out of the right front. The truck has a much better stopping bite now.

I plan on doing the rears, but that will have to wait a few more days. Thanks for the help guys.

That could be a sign the brakes are binding (or you used them a lot) and the brake fluid boiled. If you only saw it on one wheel I would look for signs of the brakes binding.

I think it's more likely that I never bled them correctly when I first did the caliper job. I was...like 14 or 15, i've learned a lot since then.

From my experience, a lot of pedal feel does come from the rear drums, as others said. I had the rear metal brake line rust out and leak, it practically felt like I lost all pedal feel. Had a shop put a new rear line in, but they didn't quite bleed all the air out. After my Dad and I bled more air out, the brakes felt good.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt - fixing a poor job bleeding the brakes is easy.

I know on one car I screwed up the install on one wheel, and the pads were always rubbing (didn’t notice) and boiled the brake fluid until I figured it out. On a newish F-250 I was towing a camper down a long hill and used the brakes too much and boiled them so at the bottom I had nothing. When I got home I had a recall notice from Ford stating that under certain circumstances the brakes my fail from overheating and bring it in for a fix (they added a insulator).

I plan on replacing all rubber lines with braided stainless steel lines...but that's another project for another day.

Okay, so, I planned on rebleeding/flushing everything. Started with the RR, and then the LR caused me trouble....I can't get much of anything to push out of it. What's going on?

Rear disk with RWAL.

Did you see any rust in the master cylinder or the lines?

No, but I didn't really look either.

It is possible that the bleeder itself is defective, or clogged. Since you get fluid to the RR you should get the same on the LR.
