Default Replacing fuel injectors

I needed to replace an injector on my 97 5.2 and the new injector at 3 different patrs stores seem to be different than what I pulled out of my intake. The O-Ring on the bottom of the injector is smaller and it fits pretty loose in the intake compared to the original. THIS is the new:

It has the yellow plastic band above the O-Ring where as the one I pulled out does not:

What is the difference? AND can I use the newer one without it leaking?
I ended up just cleaning all of mine and replacing the O-Rings and that seems to solve my misfire problem for now. But I would like to replace them all, as they look like the original injectors from 1997...
Anyone care to enlighten me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is a set of remanufactured ones from Evilbay:

Injector Coil is Tested
Injector exterior is cleaned
Dynamic Ultrasonic cleaning breaks up deposits
Reverse flush removes remaining debris and deposit
High pressure leak test is performed
Spray pattern and flow tests are performed
Injectors are Flow matched and assembled with all new components (o-rings and all new filters included)
Injectors are hermetically sealed and packaged for immediate shipping

This is the auction:

I would rather replace all 8 IF I am going to do anything.
Will ANY injectors for a 5.2 work?

Should all be 21# general DCX injectors. As far as fitment I dont know, but User's fire was due to a failed injector O-ring.

Could you elaborate on what a #21 general DCX injector is and where I can get them?
