Default 97 Dakota front center seat cupholder?

Well I THOUGHT I got a replacement since my truck didn't have one. Tried to install it and.....................NO FIT?
What else went there on a 97. I got the cupholder from a 98 with the exact same interior, or so I thought. Any clue? Another ashtray maybe?
Anyone need a nice crack free cupholder?

Don't mind the mess, I DID vacuum before the seats went back down!

Is the cup holder too wide?

Edit:
Um you have a cup holder on your floor piece. Is your truck a manual? I dont think they came that way?

Well that's the weird thing. I've never saw cup holders on the floor like that. I didn't anyway in my 98.

He said he got it from a 98 tho. Im pretty sure the 97 was like a test year. Cause there is some different things that 98 had that 97 didnt and vise versa.

NOPE, it's out of the FRONT seat of a 98 Dakota 4X4. I know for sure.
Irregardless.....
