Default Crank pulley wobble?

Greetings all...

My wife has a '99 Dakota V6 in pretty good shape overall. I just noticed that there's a noticeable wobble in the crankshaft pulley. I know this isn't good, but has anyone encountered this problem before? And, while we're at it, has anyone manged to fix this problem?

Background: there is also a squeal coming from the engine bay - I assume this is from the crank pulley, but I could be wrong. We also had it overheat yesterday, which is the reason I was poking around under the hood (I was thinking it was the water pump - can't really think of a reason why the crank pulley wobbling would be related to coolant flow... if anyone has any thoughts on this, feel free to speak up).

I'd appreciate any input, and of course I'll post updates after I've located the problem and fixed it.

Thanks!

Try to tighten the bolt on the crankshaft and see if that helps.

Not sure on the 3.9 but the harmonic balancer usually has a ring of rubber between the part that mounts on the crank and the part with the pulley. It may be slipping. It could explain the wobble too.

Thanks, everyone... I'll post some pics later today if I can, and see if I can find the balancer online. Hopefully I can just tighten the bolt and be done with it. :-)

Am I going to screw up the crankshaft by driving it like this? I really don't know how long it's been going on...

The harmonic is a press fit, it can't come off. I'd suspect a loose bolt or 2 or 3.
