getting my stuff together
Do pro street/whatever modern people call it for now. At some point I'll stick a 408 in it.
yes. Thus why I'm only doing bolt-ons. Want to hit 8.99 and I'll be happy. Then I'll build a 408 for when I can get something else to DD. Or maybe I'll still DD it. who knows?
Now I don't know exactly how a stall works, so I'm assuming you can control when it is used? So at every stop light you don't have to bring it to 2500 rpm before it takes off. I know that isn't the case, I'm just wondering how they work... Does it only work with your foot on the brake, but if your foot isn't on the brake it takes off normally?

Good reads, makes a lot more sense now. I've never really done any work on an automatic since I only owned one for a few months, and the other 7 years I've been driving I've driven a manual. I've also never really read a lot about them. I knew there was a fluid involved but now it all makes more sense.
It necessitates a cooler (which I went way overboard on purposefully), but it lets me launch at a higher RPM so I can fix the slow 60' time.
Got the methanol pump mounted today. Only got 3 bolts in for now, lock washered and nylocked so it can't go anywhere. I think the 4th hole can line up so I'm gonna try to shove a bolt in it tomorrow when I run the tubing.
Need to-
Run the tubing
Get a golf cart horn switch
wire in the radiator fan override switch in the dash
wire in the switch and pump to override switch in dash and to relay box in battery tray (And find an ign-on wire to tap)
run the leads for the trans cooler to the relay box in battery tray (and tap to ign-on wire)
Cut the convertor lock-up wire and run it to a switch (location TBD)
