Default getting my stuff together

Injector plate is done, pump location is chosen (I got 2 holes drilled, need to drill 2 more and get the #10 bolts), cooler location is chosen (Need to get 1" x 3/16" steel flatstock and drill it), and new convertor is in my back seat.

I just need to order thermostat housing and freeze plugs (4x 1-5/8 6x 1-1/4....hopefully).

I'm assuming the 2 in the bottom front of the block are 1-1/4 like the cyl heads, but I've seen opposing comments that they may be 1-1/8, a size NAPA doesn't offer...

building these...

Which pays for Alcohol injection, 2500 stall convertor, and 16 pass derale trans cooler. Then I'm saving for a locker and maybe some wheels wrapped in slicks.

well dad's business meeting got pushed back a week so we're testing on sunday and doing my convertor the weekend after. I have access to a couple dozen lifts at work so I'm doing the convertor swap there, and changing all the freeze plugs and thermostat housing while I have the trans out of the way and coolant out of it.

I'm doing the other 2 pump holes on wednesday lunch, get the methanol lines ran same lunch or maybe friday.

One of the racers here has a Jaz 1.5 gallon pro stock fuel tank that's 7 x 8 x 9" and may fit where I want to stick it. Just need an AN8 cap for the return, and a hose/vent filter for the vent line. And a way to get from the AN10 outlet to 1/4" nylon tube, or see if my devil's own tank fitting happens to fit the #10 outlet hole.

The 6.7 sucks IMO as a motor. Put a cummins in it and I'd be happy.

(Nothing says we can't put it on a ram 5500. Not like we use anything stock south of the frame rails. All custom with patents pending)

The 6.7's are alright so far they are holding up compared to the 6.0's and 6.4's. My buddys company got all new 6.7's and while they seem alright only time will tell how long they really last. I personally dont like any of the new diesels. Too much emissions crap that hurts the motor.

Magnethead, what are you goals for your truck? Seems like a lot of work trying to make a 3.9 into a drag truck.. do you have a motor swap in the future?
