Default Serpentine belt "knock"

i have a 97 dakota with the 5.2 v8. recently my serpentine belt has been almost trying to slip off and when it rotates, it slams back down onto the crank pulley making a knocking noise. Wondering if somebody else has possibly ran into this problem. all the pulleys are new minus the crank pulley/harmonic balancer. might possibly start with the balancer to see if that fixes it

no I would check your tensioner and everything else to see if anything is sticking or malfunctioning

Or the pulleys are out of alignment.

Why did you replace them all?
