I was told he used $40 worth of antifreeze to flush it... I'd hope it's not watered down since im in Calgary and it would freeze in winter

Talked to the mechanic and he said it was bled properly but maybe there's an air bubble . He tells me to "turn the **** and release the air" but no idea where that is

"It's the NPT fitting in the coolant neck coming out of the top of the engine. It's just rear of the radiator cap--you really can't miss it."

Finally got a hold of the mechanic and he put a 195 degree thermostat in. What is it supposed to be?

I'm thinking maybe the middle of the gauge is 180 or so and it's not actually overheating just reading further up on the gauge with a higher temp thermostat?

195 is OEM.

Mine runs just around the "2", with a stock 195 thermostat.

Mine doesn't have a 2. It has a 1/4 and 3/4 mark and then red area after. It used to run right in the middle now it's leaning towards the 3/4.
