No brake lights

Default No brake lights

Hi all, Everything is working on the tails light but brake lights, checked all the fuses under the dash, any thoughts, am looking in my book for an answer,, I might get it fast here...

There is a relay or 2 that deal with the brakes under the hood as well. I know one is marked trailer brakes #1 or something close. I'd look to them next.

It could also be a bad brake light switch. I believe the Haynes Book tells how to test the switch with a volt meter.

The fuse you're looking for isn't under the dash. It's in the PDC under the hood, fuse E, 20 amp, should be labeled "STOP LAMPS."

If it's good, check the brake light switch. There are no relays in an '00.

Got it fixed, was a fuse under the hood, did not even think to check there, thought they were are relays

Once again thanks for the help
