body mount bushings
all i know is doing this lift is gonna **** me the fck off. but all i know is that its getting done, and im an idiot for doing it this way, but if it works for now, im gonna do it. as for the pucks, im still on the fence about it for bushings, but as for the lift on the core support, i belive they'll work beautifully
so i went for it, and under pressure these pucks have just about the same properties of the stock bushings. gonna take it for a decent test ride fri/sat. took it for a quick one today around the block, and it did very well. still gotta finish up on it, and make final adjustments,
hahaha so very true. hahai will be heading out momentarlily to take some pics to update this thread and my resto thread, and update pics on the website www.mydakotabuild.com wich is my site
the top pic is the pucks, Left: puck with a 1/2" hole drilled in it. right: puck as it was when i bought it
middle pic is the lift itself, 2 pucks sandwiching a 4" black iron nipple, with floor flanges on both sides, with a 1/2" x 9" threaded rod with fender washers, lock washers and a nut, on each end. in the frame side it also has 4.5"x2"X.125" piece of plate to lock the bolt in place. note there is more threading avalible to add more lift.
bottom pic is well how the truck sits now
