Default Opinions on some mods

Hey guys, long time no see,

So I've done quite a bit to my Dakota modification wise. Everything from the cheap leveling out by cranking my torsion bars to new exhaust and chip/computer upgrades. Well I'm now coming to the end of my modifications. I have three things or wants left:

1) Complete exhaust modification, from the engine all the way back (magnaflow)
2) 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer A/T3 (Basically your 31")
3) Re-gearing to 4.10 differentials

Benefits-
Exhaust restriction is minimized, the sound
Ground clearance increased and A/T tire performance
I have a 3.55 diff now, great increase in acceleration and towing capabilities.

Now I'm curious to hear everyone's responses on my next possible upgrades. Also if you have any questions about previous upgrades I've done on my truck and want an opinion on how it helps feel free to ask as well.

I guess it depends what you want/how much you wanna spend
Cai Intake
Fastman throttle body
Cams
Efan mod

As far as the 4.10's if you do a lot of highway driving I dont suggest it. I think you will be about 2,500 rpms at 70mph.
Also the stock manifold flows pretty good so unless you need to replace them save your money on headers.

I run 22 hwy normally so a drop to 20 I can live with, two factors not accounted for in the 2500 rpm. Are I'm increasing tire size so the actual numbers will be closer to a 3.92 (I've done the math) and I have a 5 spd auto. So the rpms @ 70 should be closer to 21-2200. 30.5" w/ 3.73 diff run ~2k rpms at 70. My tires will be 31.5".

Other notes, I think one of my exhaust headers may have cracked that's why I'm considering them. Cams are out of the question, e-fan mod still considering, I put in a fastman throttle body a month ago , cai too much money and I have a k&n filter already in my airbox.

Don't even worry about your RPM's. My MPG went up when i did 3.55 -> 4.10. Engines are most fuel efficient at their torque peak, coupled with less load on engine, mileage is likely to go up or stay same.

Cool, thanks for that heads up, I didn't know. Also I'm changing out sparkplugs (regular maintenance reasons) and I have to change out my ignition coils because 2 of them are failing. Any suggestions? I was planning on getting E3 sparkplugs because from friends I hear they provide good burns. Anyone say otherwise?

Thanks, Duncan

Its not so much mpg I was talking about its exhaust sound. If you do a lot of highway trips it will get a bit annoying(depending what your exhaust setup is like) I know in my dakota at 2.3-2.5 the rpms gave the annoying drone which is 10 time worse with a camper.

As far as the E3 plugs I wouldnt get them. Mangum motors tend to like stocks or autolites 3923's
