Default proper numbers?

Using a Bluetooth scan tool and torque app, i am curious if these numbers are close to real:

'01 4.7L QC with full tank of eth free 87 oct

1/8 time at 10.750
1/4 time at 16.811
0-60 in 9.052
HP showed 180
Torque showed 240‘#

Need to set up a graph I guess.

As long as that hp and tq figures are at wheels then and your truck is mostly stock then I'd think yes

Then ya I'd say it sounds about right. I've yet to time mine with all my mods but I have a 3.55 diff as well. I'll see if I can give you the speeds you'll get with my mods.

ah, cool!

I should do several runs, but it's hard to stop on a freeway on-ramp or shoulder to run this. Fortunately, the tires don't really ever break loose going straight on dry pavement.

Thanks to all!

Another bit of data: Kept it in D for the test, so the system did everything for me. Didn't even power brake. Just interesting, that's all.

Hmmm okay, well I use to drive an 04' dodge durango with the 5.7 Hemi. It was to say the least it got that 5,500 lbs durango to haul ***. But driving my dakota now, it is starting to get off the line in the same fashion as the hemi did. If my math is also correct my hp per ton ratio in the dakota is the same as the hemi's was, the only advantage the hemi had was a 3.73 diff and AWD. If the dakota can do 0-60 in 7.5 like the durango did. I don't want to know what a 3.92 would do.

My best pass to date with the V6 is 10.986 @ 60.43 so that's spotting me a good 3.5 seconds, and I have 4.10's.

Ya, I'm just going to tell you in advance, I spin my tires all the way through first gear right now. I'll redline it in first gear before they completely grab. And towing a 2-3,000 lbs behind me, my mpg went from 12.5 to 11.5 around town.

You cut three seconds off with your gears or 3.5 seconds till your as fast as a hemi. But factoring your diff advantage which I gave you an +17.5% power boost (for purpose of trying to get a similar numbers) if your engine is making 200 hp you actually are getting something similarish to 235hp for acceleration purposes.
