tom when u jacko the front tires up do i need to do anything else or do i just start removing the torsion key bolt

As long as the front tires are hanging in the air, you should be able to just remove the bolts. They should start to get loose right near the end.

Make a note of how many threads are showing (may be different left to right) so you have an approximation of where to adjust them when you get the new keys in.

Also, you're going to need a big prybar to pry the torsion bars down far enough that the keys drop out of the crossmember and you can remove them. After you pry them down, stick a block of wood in there to hold them and hammer the keys off (might take some serious hammering if they're rusted in place).

thanks tom i got the one key switched old to new but the other half way there i just got annoyed by the bolt so im done for today

hell yea my first lift on first vehicle im doing my self so when im done ill try to figure out how to put a picture up

got my lift kit all done last key was a bastard to get out but its all good
