People that drive slow, block the flow of traffic, and cause Everyone else to go slow, **** me off..... Driving is not that damn hard to do if everyone had the same objective to get to their destination in a timely manner with the consideration of others, But this is America, where no one gives a damn anymore...

2 days before I broke the clutch I was Debating whether to brake check a bumper rider or not..... Dude would not get off my *** and it drove me Insane, but then i thought about having to sit there.......

So, yes i do get on the clutch because that's the only way to get that heavy beast up and rolling, i am Greatly considering a v8 model here in the future, need more *****... I understand economy is where u save $$, but with so many dumbasses on the road, id rather Have the power to use it when i need it, than to be underpowered, and i realized that when i got my uncles 1994 Suzuki RF900RR, 125hp between ur legs is AMAZING..

I bet the 1994 Suzuki RF900RR is half the weight or less than a Dakota is that helps a lot The second gen Dakota is a heavy beast the 2.5 is ok but they could have improved it more in my opinion but I think it was a sales gimmick. I like my 2.5 good MPG but not great for the engine.

My Dakota is a base model so she is the lightest of all the models so the 2.5 works for me.

The 2.5 in a jeep works great its very light not as heavy as my Dakota is

the RF900 is 450lbs Dry, so with my big *** on it, figure a good 750lbs

my Dakota is a singe cab, but long bed, I have also seen some extended cab 4 cylinder Dakotas and question myself "if this thing has no *****.... I don't wanna know how much slower the Ext cab version is"

Someone has changed too many bolts out under the hood , im not having too fun of a time because im changing sockets every bolt

I think if they had designed that 4cyl a bit better, they can be a decent truck... The Intake/exhaust on the same side of the engine is a big downfall...... though they probably made it that way for more reliability

had to take a break, I have the block mounted to a stand, I went to rotate the engine, and it went to free-spin turn upside down, and I thought it would have broken the bolts because I only have 2 on at the moment, so I went to catch the motor and I threw out my back.... Not too bad, but still enough to keep me in bed for 2 days......

Go see a chiropractor TODAY

I have a bad back and you never want to just ignore any back injury even a small back injury can lead to major back problems

I would see the chiropractor and then in a day or two go to a good massage place a few times to get the stiffness and swelling down this will help you recover faster and heal better

http://www.massageenvy.com/ is a good place and great prices

my friend, this is nothing new to me, I have 7 herniated disks and 1 Fractured Vertebrae, I know why my back hurts, and im glad this time I didn't have the severe nerve pain shooting through my legs and into my toes... just a kinked back and some minor nerve pain in my back....

I am just fine, Well Not Really... i don't want any surgery on my back, with my luck id wake up and be paralyzed.. thank you for your concern though

Put yourself in my shoes and you'll understand why im not sweatin' it... I could have been in a box, 6 feet under, im happy as **** to be alive and am slowly turning my ways and life around... I just broke up with my sons mother, a 3 year 4 month relationship ENDED... no regrets.. it was for the better, and im HAPPY AS EVER!!

In the mean time, I didn't pay attention to the positon of the flywheel and I now notice notches on the edge of the flywheel, I skimmed through the 2.5 section of the manual, and I didn't see anything about timing, but like I said I Skimmed, I may print the whole 2.5 section just to have it on paper

I took the block to get the cam bearings installed, and the guy put them in reverse order, so I need to take the block back to him so he can put them in correctly.....

A good machine shop guy would ask for the camshaft so it can be fitted to the bearings - many bearing require a little "polishing" to get a free-running fit. So take the camshaft along too, and insist on new bearings, not the present ones knocked out and re-installed. They are an interference fit, and a one shot deal.

I took the cam and the block back to him, and he had to work on the cam bearing closest to the front of the block, I dropped it off about noon, they called me about 4pm
