Default Windshield "frame" part?

Does anyone know what the metal "frame" part is called on either side of the windshield? It overlaps the windshield on the driver and passenger side and bolts to the body.

All the coating on mine have started to flake off and I'd like to replace them.

I was told to get them from junkyard when safelite changed my windshield.

Yes but can you actually order the parts and at what cost is the top available also or just the sides.

Some places show them available but if you call they say they are no longer available old print you see.

There seem to be several places online to order them from. Just punch in the part number in google.

Ok I'm not questioning you but that doesn't mean its available try to order it and see call you may be surprised that its no longer available as I said its old info not scrubbed yet.

I have called on a number of parts showing still available and the answer is no sorry that part is no longer available.

Not everything on Google is correct there is a ton of very old web pages still out their not all company's are good at removing old info that's all.

But you could be correct call and find out?

I removed mine and used paint thinner to remove what was left of the coating, then did Plastidip on them and they have turned out great.
