Default Gearing.

Anyone know if these 4.10 gears will be a direct fit for both Front and Rear axles?
I'm just planning ahead for when I upgrade to bigger tires in a couple years and don't want to put extra load on my engine and tranny.

If you have a 9.25" rear axle, those are the right gears for the rear. I didn't see anything in that link for the front.

I have nitro gears in mine.

RR&P only shows USA gears for the front for 4.11

Make sure you get the install kits, too. It's not absolutely necessary to replace the bearings if they're still good, but it's silly not to, IMO.

What kind of differences do you notice between the 4.10 and the 3.55 or 3.92? Which ever gears came stock in your truck.

I had 3.55's with the V6. 4.10's unloaded it a ton, picked up 1 mpg city and only lost 2 on the highway. I have a heavy foot so it balanced out eventually...just has alot more leave in it. I'm only on 265/70/16's.

Many factors come to mind selecting gears. Do you have larger than stock tires, do you want more of a faster off the line get up and go, or do you want better mileage?

I have 3.55 (stock) and appreciate the 18-19 mpg. I enjoy the off the line perks and rarely spin the tires. If I wanted the best line speed and spinning the tires, I'd go with 4.10s but get bad mpg on my road trips (which is my every day ride).

It's all about what you want to achieve.

The best mileage I ever got was from DFW to A&M, about 21 MPG.

I've not done a long road trip with the 4.10's, but what I have done, shows about 19 MPG.

My city is about 12 with a really heavy foot.
