Hi Jared,

Welcome to the forums. I moved your post into a new thread.

What engine(s) are we talking about here?

The problem with a 2000 motor and your 2002 may be the tone wheels. There's two, one on the crank and one on the camshaft. They are different and not compatible. The change was made in late '02.

Take a look at your PCM on the passenger side inner fender. How many connectors are on it? If you have 3, you are running the JTEC PCM and it will work. If you have 4 plugs, it's NGK, and you'd have to swap out the tone rings. In order to do so the crankshaft has to come out.

Then it should work just fine.

Just replacing the timing chains is a major challenge. If you can get this motor for a good price you should be ahead of the game.
