Default 44re shift kit issue

Ok I put a shift kit in a few months ago, and have had the issue since I did it but my issue is that at any speed over 60 with WOT the transmission cannot find a gear to shift into. The RPMs hit 6 grand before I let up. Now when the tranny is not fully warmed up it does not do it.. I can keep it pinned to the floor with no problems.
So do y'all think it would be a TV cable issue or maybe a band adjustment issue? I adjusted the one inside the tranny but not the upper band. Thanks in advance everyone

*Update*
I have adjusted the upper band last night( Loosened the tighten nut and snugged the adjustment bolt all the way in, then backed it off 2 complete turns, then locked it in)... the roads were wet so i could not fully test it. This morning though i did test it and it seems it is trying to find a gear but is bouncing in and out of it. Still in need of advice though..

Yea it jumped that far before i could catch it.. didn't stay there for long. Im still tweaking it with the TV cable and the front adjustment band and its getting better.
