The gauges are working? They are driven by the PCM, all of them. Therefore the CCD bus is working.
The cluster is a computer itself, and is programmable. The transmission temp and overdrive lights, along with like the cruise light, are all programmable. What did you do to the harness for the extra cylinders? Did you just splice in the extra wires or swap it out?

The pcm is out of 99 dakota 5.2 auto 2wd,I ran wires from #2 an #13 pins in pcm for #7 an #8,Then taped the gr/rd wire to ASD wire from #5 an #6 for both cylinders according to wriring diagram the ASD is one wire out of relay then injectors are spliced in the ASD relay wire,All my guages work,Truck runs awsome,Shifts good just thoes 2 light on an no buss an no over drive,Is still trans from 3.9,Now with the key on my milage will show will stay on for few seconds then cuts out to no buss,An is keeping milage,

I think you need to have the PCM updated at a garage to set it to the proper motor/transmission combination. I think that is what is causing you problems, the vehicle you pulled the PCM from more than likely had a different transmission to go with the 5.2 motor and you have to sync that electronically to get it all to work together.

It is my understanding if you replace the PCM, regardless of whether or not it is an exact match to your vehicle you still have to flash the data to sync it with your cluster. This is done as a security feature to keep people from putting a PCM in with lower mileage than is on the vehicle it is replacing. This is why you get the NO BUS message on the cluster and more than likely why you are having issues with the lights as well. I am also betting if the PCM came from a vehicle with a different transmission than yours it won't operate the transmission correctly and would be why your overdrive isn't working. A quick call to the dealership explaining what you did will probably give you the info you need to fix the problem.
