Sounds like a nice loyal Dodge house hold, I like to spread it around, 1 Dakota, 1 Cherokee, 1 Samurai and last and Yes LEAST 1 VW Jetta (Old School 90 Body). I would love to see some shots of the Business Coupe, if you have some to toss up here.

I yanked the CAI off my 5.0 and tossed it in the Dak. Didn't really notice anything but loud resonating inside. I put the stock stuff back on and didn't notice a drop in power. Perhaps a K&N drop in when it's time to replace the paper filter, but I'm not wasting my money on a CAI for it.

Check ebay for an intake.....cheap HP and look cool as well. My buddy got one for his 5.2 dak for $17 bucks and got more power and better mileage.

If you get one that isn't a thermal plastic, wrap it in header wrap to keep it from absorbing heat. The one in my old subaru used to get hot to the touch, which means it's baking the intake air.

when companies tell you that you can get up to 10hp on their products, they mean that with the right setup (stroked motor, supercharged, or turbo) its possible to get that much HP. with a stock setup like most of us have, expect to see alot less, but its still there.
