Default 2001 dakota 4.7 lean bank one code

I developed an exhaust leak right where the manifold is attached to engine in oct of last year. Truck ran fine just a little noisy. About a month ago I got in truck and idle was a little rough. I have maybe driven it a couple hundred miles around town since. Decided to check and change spark plugs to clear rough idle. When I changed plugs I noticed the 4 passenger plugs were perfect and the four plugs on drivers side were carboned up really bad. THen I got a code for lean bank one. New here but any help would be appreciated on what could be causing the plugs to burn that way, thanks

I don't have the 4.7 and I'm not sure if you have two O2 sensors a side but that sounds like an O2 sensor problem to me just because the problem is on one side.

Have you tried resetting the PCM/computer? How do I reset you ask pull off the Neg battery terminal for 2 minutes then put it back on.

What side has the exhaust leak? I'm guessing the drivers.

Fix the exhaust leak. It should solve your problem.
