1998 dakota was cutting out now wont start

Default 1998 dakota was cutting out now wont start
It was cutting out a couple times a day at various times.. Idling, or at higher speeds. Now it cut out and won't start. It acts like its out of gas.
Or maybe no spark?
Any suggestions? Thanks

Ended up being the coil.. Pretty obvious but it didn't seem like it was getting fuel either..
Anyway, didn't get any responses but look forward to participating in the future.
