battery question
I recently disconnected my battery to clear some codes. I reconnected the ground and now it is dead. It was fine up to that point. It was only disconnected for 1 hr. The eye is still green. Why did this happen? I am not upset as the battery is the original and its a 03. But a little puzzled.
I would recheck all of the battery connections. What's happening, any lights at all, turning over at all, clicks...?
An original 2003 battery should be replaced anyway, I can't see how it would be good anymore. If you have an Advanced Auto near you, order online and use a code below to save a few bucks.

By "ground", are you talking about the reconnecting the ground cable to the negative post on your battery? (I assume you are)
I disconnected my battery a few days ago to do some work on the engine and when I reconnected it, I could not get it to connect properly. I could not tighten it enough to grip the post tightly. Because of that, the battery stopped charging and all I got was clicks.
I had to disconnect the negative cable, deform the cable connector and reconnect. After I did this, it has worked like a champ.
