Default help new to forum

I have a 98 dodge Dakota v6 two wheel drive v6 transmission is a 46re just replaced it have these codes pop up
P0753 overdrive solenoid circuit
P1762 Tran voltage rly circuit
P0743 TCC solenoid circuit
any ideas where I should start also it start in 2nd or 3rd gear and it says transmission is running hot

There is part of the problem. The electronics changed in 00..... so the PCM is getting readings it doesn't understand... That's why the trans temp light is coming on. You *should* be able to just change the electronics, and be good to go. "Should" being the key word there. If you had a shop do it, have a chat with 'em.

Governor pressure sensor and solenoid. Need the old style retainer for them as well. (if you still have your old trans, can grab it from there, I would go with new electronics though.) You *might* have to change the O/D and TCC solenoid set as well, the connector on those may have changed too. Those are more fun to get though. Videos on youtube for that exercise.

Well that's not good mine for some reason will not shift into 4th would the transmission speed sensor have anything to do with that?

I can also say that I no longer have codes that pop up but my engine light is on abs light and transmission hot light is on even though I know it not running hot
