Dakota overheating badly
I use just a spray nozzle set to a strong stream every year to get the bugs out.
I have also gone to one of those self car wash booths that have a power wash sprayer and it didn't do any damage

It's just like combing your hair. You just start on an undamaged section and move the comb slowly through the damaged areas. It bends the fins back straight.
It'll also scrape off the bug carcasses.
It's a cheap tool, less than $20 for a "universal" one.
If you do use a pressure washer just keep the pressure low enough so you're only taking the bugs off.
