Leaf spring interchangeability
I have a 2000 Dakota quad cab support with the 5.9 and 4x4. Both main leaf Springs broke. From what I've gathered all second gen 4x4 Dakotas use same leaf spring. But one place told me the qc is different. Looking for the right answer here. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
The rear springs are NOT all the same. There are 5 different versions for 2000. It depends upon options...
BUT - there is only one for a 4x4 Quad Cab. Dodge p/n 52106765AD. It may have been superseded.

They may fit but the spring rates will be different than what you have. How it'll handle, towing capacity, who knows. Remember, your Quad Cab is heavier than the regular and club cab.
The p/n I gave you is the only one listed in the 2000 parts catalog for your application.
Replace the whole thing.

I don't know where you're located, but I have a pair from my 97 Club Cab that I'll give you for the cost of shipping if they'll work for you. I even have the shackles.
They're 24"x32" in length with 14mm (I think) bolts.
