Default Durango Springs in a Dakota qc

Had anyone ever replaced their qc 4wd leaf Springs with Durango 4wd leaf Springs? Was it a straight swap out are their other mods involved?

You might want to start a couple more threads about this.

Let's not...

Crash, get the proper springs. It's not just IF they fit it the characteristics of the springs, the spring rates. You can't tell by looking at it.

Anything other than what came with the truck can affect the handling and load carrying capacity.

I understand and looked at differences. Both sets are rated at 1800 lbs have same length and width. Only differences are that the Durango has five Springs and Dakota has four. Also the pack height of the Durango is 1 5/8 inches and Dakota is 1 9/16 inches. Oh and the Irish major difference is the Durango spring would almost be half the price of the Dakota spring for a set of two. Money is the issue as I have a family and another child on the way. I don't hall much weight or tow anything so not worried about that aspect.
