I've been wanting to put larger tires on my dak i've been going back and forth between a 3 in body lift and the torsion key and 3 in spring in the rear. I've been reading all the articles just wanted a lil more incite on which to go with. thanks for any help!
I had 285/75/16s on my Dak. I cranked the torsion bars and there was still a lot of rubbing. I trimmed some to get rid of most rubbing. After adding a 3" body lift they fit fine other than rubbing frame at full turn mm
you'll be better off with a body lift. If you need a reason, I can go take a picture of my front tires (265/70's) with my 1" higher-than-stock front end.
I have no problem with rubbing at turns. My problem is rubbing at full stuff. Both tires are just waiting to come apart on me, but this is my third set to cut like this. My front end is 1" higher than stock, and I'm still hitting.
that's crazy it's cut like that i have 265/70/16 on mine and have no issues my brother in law has 265/75/16 and they dont rub. is your shocks ok on the front?

shocks are brand new, and I have the V8 springs on it, brought the nose up one inch over the V6 springs. Before that, I had to be careful going over so much as a mall speed bump or a rail crossing.
