I Ordered .060 over pistons and was sent Standard size, and because someone lied to me, they had to special order .060 over pistons from their supplier and they werent too happy about it, i was promised they would arrive on the 24th, despite the mixup, i am still satisfied with them because they actually communicate with a customer like a company should

Waiting on the pistons to send everything off to the machine shop, even haulted my dads 300 straight 6 rebuild until i get the pistons, cause im not going to the machine shop 4 times

I finally got the .060 over pistons in today.... I was rather surprised at the size of the box, then i opened it to learn they sent me 4.0L .060 pistons, which means ill have 2 pistons left over after the rebuild

I would love to get one of the extra ones

You sure they are the correct pistons?

Snap a pic or two

Yes they will fit, i will take pics tomorrow

i did alot of reading on the 2.5 and it is infact a 4.0 chopped down, i even put them top to top and they are just a little bigger, the wrist pin dimensions are the same, i already checked before buying because i was looking to see if the 4.0 had .080 over pistons, cause i had went that route if they were available

My dad is boring his Ford 300 Straight 6 engine .080 over, using Ford 390 V8 pistons, he will have 2 left over as well
