SRS/air bag/seatbelts are all CTM I think, but don't quote me on that.

No. The airbags and belt tensioners are independent of both the PCM and the CTM. There is an airbag control module that handles them, located under the instrument panel just about dead center over the transmission tunnel.

The only possible "glitch" is that the Airbags communicate over the PCI bus to the cluster - for the warning lights.

It should be mounted just above the transmission tunnel.

I can see mine on the transmission hump. Yours should be there as well. It's not IN the dash exactly, more under it on a bracket welded to the tunnel.
