Default 5.9 radiator

ok anyone know the cheapest place to get a radiator for a 2001 Dakota with the 5.9? autozone and orielys both want close to 200 bucks! just though I would ask.

If it doesn't have to be new you could try a boneyard.

I went through 1-800-radiator. I think I paid like 150 delivered. All aluminum, none of the plastic tank BS. I think all motor sizes use the same rad.

our junkyards suck!!! im hoping its the radiator causing it to heat up, don't do it all the time but on occasion, already changed the water pump and I can hear the fan clutch when I start it.

have you flushed it out both ways? Ditto with the heater core?

How about the thermostat? They can hang up sometimes too.

RockAuto has one as low as $92

Most seem to hover around $130-150.

ill take it to the local mechanic cuase I have no idea on what im doing.
