You might want to have upper and lower control arm bushings checked before you invest in other things. My lowers needed to be replaced, and that was $1200. They are riveted in place and must be ground off and then drilled out so the new ones can be bolted in place.

You do not want to pay for an alignment, much less new tires, without checking this first.

The superchips is fine but I think the sct has better tuning and sean at hemifever does a great job.

Im guessing you mean ball joints or im hoping you didnt pay 1,200 to get bushings replaced as they only take about 2 hrs to do and press in with little to no effort.

well first, before anything, its going to the shop. The Brakes are gone...again ! There was a slow leak and it completely drained my master cylinder,I wasn't able to add brake fluid before it emptied, Now the brakes need to be bled and the leak needs to be found. I do not feel like messing with it in 1 degree weather, in 6+inches of snow.

Well I got the brakes fixed...a while ago heh. Now it seems the clutch is going out, i have to move the pedal more when starting from a stop and 1st to second gear shift is becoming a tad bit rough. So what would you guys recommend for a replacement clutch. Also My 85' is back on the road again !
