If you are gettong spark from the coil, all electronics are good. All the distributor does is distribute the spark from the coil to the plugs. Are the rotor and dizzy cap in good shape? I'm guessing not.

Freddie, what engine is this?

Take the distributor cap off and then have a buddy watch the rotor as you crank the engine.

If the dizzy drive link was broken, he wouldn't have oil pressure, either

If not the cap or rotor then its a bad coil wire.
