Default door replacement

I just purchased an 01 Dakota quad. The drivers door is pretty rusty and the window regulator is shot.
I just found a 02 that someone is parting out about 1.25 hours away from me.

Can anyone tell me if a 02 door will direct fit an 01? And how much should I offer for it?

Thanks

the doors are the same providing they are off the same cab. Regular/extended/quad cabs use different door lengths. 2 are the same and one is longer by 3", I forget which.

I would say the regular or base model has the big doors that's what I loved about it big wide doors. Helped me a ton caring for my Mom with Alzheimer's made it easy to get her in and out of the Dakota.

if it's color matching, I'd start bidding at $200. If not color matching, then 150.

damn, I thought doors were a high ticket item, especially when in good condition and especially when color matching...

Depending on location. A full color matching door with no rust with all the workings(power window and locks that work) Is worth 200-250 easy! Base color matching door(no power windows or locks) prob 150.00. Rust free items are hard to find here in pa. If you live in a dry climate(like tx,az ect) they are worth a little less. Should be able to find them them in the junk yards pretty easy.

Update
I did a little research and found that UPULLRPARTS ( a junk yard that you literally pull the parts yourself) had basic door for $55. Checked to other recyclers and they ranged from $150-$250. I contacted the seller. I offered $50 with my removing the door. He said it was worth more. I offered $75 telling him I could get a basic door for $55. He took the offer. Now I have to get up there and get it. Friday is the day. Hopefully no one shows up and takes it before I get there. Thanks all
for the input.
Oh by the way it is a color match.

Yeah a door you have to go pull yourself is worth a little less. As long as its all there and in good condition. Seems like a good deal
