Water Pump died 2nd time

For the 2nd time since I've owned my 2001 dakota I need to replace the water pump,I guess for a 13 year old truck that ain't bad(Lucky I have a 2012 Silverado to help me get around in :P )

What engine do you have Dodgeman? What brand was your replacement pump and how long did it last?

Are you changing your antifreeze every few years? It loses lubricity after a while and that's what lubricates the pump.
