Default ****ty spark plugs and a Problem

Well I had a cylinder 8 misfire so I started with a basic tune up (plugs/wires/cap/rotor) Today I was taking off the plug wires notice they where orange in the bottom of the boot. Well I had rusty spark plugs. 2 came out whole, 2 did not (see pictures). The 2 that did not come out whole left the part where it screws in. Well since two didn't come out whole I knew that last 4 would be a hit or miss. Now that parts of my spark plug are still in there, what can I do to get them out? Bolt extractor or tap and thread to get them out? any ideas?

How long have they been in? Penetrating oil on all the threads, lots of it.

If you do use a bolt extractor coat it with heavy grease so that any debris sticks to the grease and doesn't fall into the cylinder.

Use antisieze in the future.

Oh man I wish I could tell you something good about this.
I had one do the exact same thing last spring. I ended up snapping 2 extensions, breaking a ratchet and then breaking an EZ out off in the head.
Long story short..1500 bucks to R&R the head at the dealer. They had to send it to the machine shop who drilled it and were able to save the threads. No helicoil.
All is good since then but it wasn't cheap.
Good luck and try the other suggestions.

well I just bought the truck maybe 6 months ago. I am guessing these are the plugs that came with the truck. 2 came out okay 2 did not. I didn't want to try the last 4 until I knew hat I was getting myself into. I'll try lots of Penetrating oil then try to get an extractor and slowly try to get it out, without breaking the extractor. Any recommendations on good extractors and good penetrating oil
